@dreamsunlimited, sorry to hear about the rejection despite ur strong LORs from the same place. Unfortunately dreams are limited in Cali for IMGs! Welcome to California! Take it easy, CA is not easy at all for IMGs so dont worry...hope you applied in other states especially east coast. GL

@cafe, thanks for your support. Yes I applied in other states, too. I got rejection just after the phone call to the program made by a faculty in favour of me.

sorry to hear that but not all programs appreciate contacts, especially good uni programs. It doesnt always work, and when it does usually its in community programs. GL in other states, I think Cali is too tough for IMGs even with GC....for me anyways, so hoping to match with my other state ivs. GL
