Answer is number 1 for sure!!!! The questions asks what would be the very next thing you would do, not how do you solve the problem or what do you think the problem was.
In med school during rotations in my OB/GYN elective - we came across a couple - educated etc but very reserved. They were not getting pregnant. Turned out they were kissing and doing other stuff BUT he was not puting his penis in her or penetrating inside of her -- they really didnt know. The treatment for this couple was to give them porn to watch.....which is what we did.
It happens people and thats why the very first step is to clarify everything -- even if its the obvious!!!!
