I will still pick Steroid....allopurinoal...u really donno the cause...overproducer/undersecretor..
A,C, D ruled out..
Since it is an acute condition...and localized to one knee giving steroid will help though a diabetic.

benefit outweigh risk ...I guess
Thinking it as a group therapy rather than individual

giving steroids orally /im /iv may cause hyperglycemia,but intrarticular steroids will only dec inflammation.
