finished pediatric residency back home and had a masters degree in pediatrics .. i did some research there ..
applied to programs in the first hour in september 2008 ..

My observation: Obviously I cannot go back and change my scores or attempts, also, it is becoming harder for me to explain my gap. Most FM programs want USCE and if you have that, it doesn't matter what your scores are.

My solution: step 3 and PA school. As a PA, I will practice like an MD or DO. With one or two years of PA experience, most programs will want me.

congratulation for your wonderful scores as well as getting matched. Nothing against you BUT don't you think that you did not get enough IVs after getting great score, having USCE and recent grads? did you apply late?

now a days trend is that even if one can get 5 interviews, one should be happy and feel lucky???
