@ritz--you can apply to advanced neurology right now as long as they are offering positions for 2013 not for 2012..hope i clarified
@lovejaan--you can apply to advanced programs and the prelimns at the same time as advanced program generally match candidates one year earlier...
usually prelimn programs wont give prematches....so cant expect that..!!!

That's what I meant. For advanced programs u need one year im before their start date. Thanks for Elaborating though

Hi duodopa,

There are some advanced programs that start the residency in 2012. So you have to have the preliminary year already. But most of them start in 2013..

Coz I picked categorical im. N my interest is neurology. I m fascinated with brain n related stuf. So I decided to finish my im n pursue my goal. My friend did the same but he applied last year n startin in 2012 at rush Chicago.
