@Dr. Mizani,

Thanks for your response. I have a few questions -

a) How to compute the integral of ln(x^2) (ln - natural log to base e).

b) given a function: y=f(x); how to find the local minima and local maxima in an interval [a,b]. Assume the f(x) is continous and differentiable in this range. Can you provide a formal proof as well for the method.

Thanks a lot for your kindness.

Professionally Yours

i asked a chairman of teaching hospital to do clerkship , he says i need medical malpractice insurance, i knew about americlerks , so i made them communicate each other so i could get to do clerkship, although i could have got it from a insurance company in 400 dollars, but i made a big foolish mistake and paid americlrks 2000 dollars, they still ask me to buy health insurance and i keep telling them that that hospital does not need it and i was paying them just to do clerkship in that particular hospital. but they did not gave me any proof of medical malpractice insurance until i complete THEIR requirement. 2 weeks passed and i was told by medical education department of that hospital that i need to submit them documents by myself and not thru any third party/americlerks, the documents were easy for me , only thing was medical malpractice insurance, which they needed , i asked again and again to americlerks to give me the proof of malpractice insurance so that i could start my clerkship , but they stil said they need all documents/ health insurance, frustrated from these people i bought another malpractice insurance from cunningham group in just 400 dollars. and submitted all the documents to hospital and started working, but got nothing from these Americlerks.

Now i asked americlerks to give me back my money which i got as a loan , but they are not giving me even my own money, first i have to sign their cancellation form which will take the right away from me to even ask them what they have deducted the money for. I dont want to sign that form because then i wont be abke to even claim them.

Guys please give me any advice how to get my money back from these Rippers.

So can anyone confirm if americlerkships is still a fraud now??

It isn't a fraud. They just aren't truthful. They get you a clerkship but if you want it at a teaching institution with a teaching attending, they will overpromise and not secure it like they should. They DO NOT like to give money back so good luck with that.It is a lot of running around with them.

@ dj9, at what hospital did you do the clerkship, are you a student or IMG?
I feel sorry for what happened to you. I am looking to do a clinical rotation in family medicine, but it is hard to find something for IMG in teaching hospitals. You can buy malpractice insurance for up to 250 $ for 4 weeks and you don't need health insurance, you will need only the vaccines.

I agree with @desperateforpgy1, I wouldn't say Americlerkships is a fraud, but they do like to lead you on in terms of promising rotations to you and it never coming to fruition, and that is if you are even lucky enough to get somebody on the phone. I unfortunately did about a year of rotations with them, and I have to say it wasn't all bad, but it definitely could have been ran alot smoother. I was able to get some LORs out of the experience, but I'm not sure if spending all that money was worth it. The overall experience just left a sour taste in my mouth, but if you absolutely cannot find any other means of obtaining USCE and you have the money, dare I say, Americlerkships would be better than nothing.

If you are still a medical student, it is much cheaper to find your own rotations through medical schools in the states as many of them offer up to 3-4 months of rotations as a visiting student. You do have to come up with your own malpractice insurance, but most of the time the only other cost is the application fee, which is pretty much negligible. You also learn a whole lot more in these rotations because they are through teaching institutions rather than in private clinics where the teaching is minimal and you basically just stand there. The 3 months I did as a visiting student were 100x better than the year I did with Americlerkships.
