I put A and got it wrong. I put A because I thought the downstream enzymes like phosphorylase kinase or glycogen phosphorylase stilled worked with epinephrine. Glucagon and Epi/beta-2 works by Gs- adenylate cyclase and protein kinase A. So something must be wrong with the glucagon receptor, the beta-2 receptor works fine. Stimulation of the glucagon receptor results in activation of adenylate cyclase and from then on glycagon and Epi have the same pathway.
So the answer is B. Glucagon receptor.
So the answer is B. Glucagon receptor.
