yes, YOG 1996, good scores, GC, 4 months USCE

i m 2003 grad. Alhamdulillah, matched. 1 yr usce, 8 publications, 3 as first author.

I am an kind of oldish IMG as well. My YOG is 2004 and I have matched!

I knew that my YOG is going to be a problem right away since most of the programs have less then 5 years after grad requirement, that is why I got USCE (3 mos externship, and 3 mos obsevership/shadowing) with onlu US LORs. I think that helped me got 10 IVs total!

Plz, dont give up guys. I know that not everybody will go through that, but we all have potential. I was pretty mediocre student in my home counry and would never ever even believe that I will be a doctor in the US someday.
