martha yes nobody can force him to do anything but we should encourage him to seek a better solution to this problem..............
No choice D wont be there, there will be Q like " encourage him to talk " ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, " do u feel safe at home" or "tell me more about your relationship with your wife".......................... it is your duty to protect your pt so start on the conversation.............. the answer will not be a choice as " spousal abuse is not mandatory " ..........
