pulsatile tinnitus is different from ringing type of tinnitus.
i know ringing or roaring or hissing sound in the ear is tinnitus but pulsatile tinnitus is a different form where it is similar to listening to one's own heartbeat inthe ear & now dont think i'm speaking about palpitations because that is being aware of one's own heartbeat & not hearing it.this what i understand but dont know what is here?

hi,, the ans is its due to thiamine deficiency... there is increased end diastolic volume... pulsatile tinnitus, decreased diastolic b.p, all lead to the diagnosis of A.R like condition , which can be seen in all hyperdynamic circulation conditions, which include fever, thyrotoxicosis, thiamine deficieny...one more clue is hrer E.F maintained at 50%..if its a dilated cardiomypathy it wont be that much na....
