Gmail, thank you. I have mapping for ccs and I really like it, can you tell me how to practice mapping cases on FRED?

@craftsmn, open a case on FRED software, www.usmle.org/practice-materials/, then type mapping orders assuming that you are managing a mapping case not the FRED's case. This way you will have some experience with what you are getting on the exam. The principle here is you need to practice the cases on original USMLE software, UW software is not a perfect replica and you should not rely completely on it.

Littledoc, you have 3 weeks to your exam. Still enough time. Try to make your best judgment on how to use your available resources wisely. That's all I can say at this point. Good luck!

hi littledoc, all the forum members.. i was depressed all day yesterday after taking uw sa. i did uworld qbank in and out, i scheduled my test for next week. i failed in uw sa with 188, i got 55, 40, 45,62 in all the 4 blocks. haven't taken an nbme, so what do you guys suggest? thanks!

@gmail---I'll combine both UW CCS and Mapping. I have 5 days in between because when I changed to 7th, 13th was the only available next date to schedule. I wanted 3 days break in between but this is the way I got it. So in those 5 days I'll be doing CCS more on FRED and UW software. When is your test?

@bujji2015--I will suggest you to extend your dates. You can take NBME and see..What was your UW average?

thanks, my uw avg first time was 60 and second time was 80, i think this 80 was due to repitition and i remember the answers

@bujji2015--your UW average is good and you have already done it twice so may be you can revise theory from MTB or add Kaplan Q bank and give NBME after this, hope you have extended dates already!
