#41
I think karma is what got student1960 in the first place, with his terrible advice and consistent abuse of others.

What exactly happened guys?

After reading so many arguments. Now I am really curious. What's with all that leg pulling?
What did he say to you all?

You can't do internado without knowing spanish. Also his credentials are not good enough.

He admits not knowing Spanish in this post:

Also notice his condescending comment "love these posts. Lol"

He claimed to have all these connections and lied about the amount of interviews he got. He also tried to hide his credentials when asked point blank about them. He also tried to mislead people by saying saying scores don't matter.

@ricandoctor I looked at the thread you linked and you appear to be the greater jerk in that thread and in this .... sigh.

@ricandoctor

lets say one is fluent en espanol and completes the internado year, but does not go on to residency. what kind of jobs can one do in PR with just internado? is it just working at prisons and ERs? approximately how much do people make working with just an internado year completed? gracias

With Step 3 internado gives you the right to a General Practicioner MD license. Which means you can work as a physician in the island and you can even work in the USA in Critical needs areas (google Critical Needs Florida). The internado lasts a year, it pays $1,200 a month at the most and nothing at the least. It is very close to a transitional year. As a GP I was making around ten grand a month, you can make a lot more if you comitt to a practice. Some make more than specialists. Where I did my internado half where foreigners. Being a GP also lets you work in hospitals and build contacts which is how I matched.

You can have a private practice, you can be a House staff, you can do home visits, you can work visiting retirement homes. Pretty much amything you want.
