hey Danna ,
first of all very very congratulations ,bec I can imagine how hard to study with kids ,they really take our breaths but still we as a MOMS love to live & spend our all precious time with them & take them as the Biggest Blessing from Allah which we can have .
I am just confused about fwe questions .I ahve my test on 23rd dec so if you can reply me I really apprecaite .
1.Did you summarize the case before examaination or after examination.?
2 Iam thinking the same way that you did to ask question while washing my hands to ask question if they any to save my time & suammrize just after fifnshing history BUT Kaplan course told us not to do that & do it in very end after Examination .You tell me which is more appropraite?

thanks, you are absolutely right, my kids are the best part of life, I thank Allah every day for being a mother :o) though it's not easy at all !! but this is life (not easy) ... right ?

*Q 1: I summarized all cases AFTER the PE & BEFORE assessment & counseling.
I asked all pts if they wanted to tell me any thing else, most of them said: I can't think of any thing...
*Q 2:I didn't take Kaplan course, they sure have more experience than me, what i did during hand washing is that I told the pt. : I am gonna wash my hands now to examine you, I might ask you some questions while I'm examining you is that OK with you ?
they all said YES, then I asked the pt. if he/ she wanted to tell me any thing or had any questions, some of them asked me the challenging question & others said " I can't think of any thing "...
those who asked me the challenging question gave me the time to think while examining them, I answered some during the physical & I left difficult Qs to the end... I was trying to gain time & it worked with me, what I did might not be the best but alhamdo le-Allah I passed, I think you should put your own plan from all what you read " FA, Kaplan,...."

try to make the SP comfortable as much as you can, tell them every thing you are doing & keep smilling

always remember "Allah Kareem" ~ "Allah is very Generous"...
keep practicing & praying...

what I mean is smile when you enter the room & introduce yourself the pt, & when you thank the pt at the end of the encounter
( not while the SP is complaining or pretending he is in pain!!)

Thank you very much Danna,,, I wish your this thread remain for ever on the CS forum, its very unique of its kind..
IT WAS this thread that I used to read everyday when I was passing through difficult timings of retaking the CS immediately after I failed my first attempt.
On one side was the grief of failure and on the side was the continuous struggle to retake the exam within 20 days.Thanks Allah I am back in the match two programs have sent me e mails.One siad they have kept my application amongst the top candidates so for. Ishall rank this program as my first. Other said they have kept ontop on their waiting list for pre match. And now I got another interview. So encouraging. Thanks to Allah KAREEM, He IS really Kareem.
