my exam experience.
prep started around mid may, interrupted june, then july. finally started again in August but interrupted again at the end of August and first 10 days of september.
finally resumed studies in full gear from 10 sep on wards..
study materials:
KLN( twice)
MTB2 and 3( at least 3 times)
UW online 4 months (total)
total prep time: 3.5 solid months
hrs/day : almost 6hrs in the beginning, almost 9-10 hrs in the last month.
UW first time: 65% cumulative
(subscription ended on 31 oct)
took NBME2(online) score: 200 (3 weeks before exam)
took a fresh UW subscription of 1 month n scored around 81% this time,
took NBME4( online) score: 202 ( 2 weeks before exam)
took UWSA( online) 1 week before exam score:232
i really pushed my self to the limit, i don't believe taking more time would have improved my scores.
i have no regrets over the exam materials i used or the amount of time i gave, i know that i couldn't have done better.
i feel sad only since UWSA gave me hope of crossing 230, i've seen many people scoring close to UWSA than NBME in CK, i was wishing the same but there's nothing i can do
@gudducleveland, i can understand ur pain buddy. we are in the same boat.
