how u order to get the CBC/LFT done at followup appointment?? eg after 1 mth?
to monitor for drug toxicity

i was on skype for along time yesterday.

U just arrange a F/U appointment a month later and when the patient comes back for the F/U, order the tests, besides doing Physical exam, history etc as required. Then, if all is fine wid the pt, u can send him/her home. U'll get back the some of the lab results in a few hours and some might take a day or two... but that isnt a problem... u can send the patient home and just check the results when u get them back... if they're normal, then it isnt a problem, but if they're abnormal, then u might want to call the patient back for an appointment the next day to make appropriate changes to his/her treatment.
