Hi, everyone
I think this thread is good, but please put your credentials and the program you tried to match and the reason you think why you didn't match, that might help ourselves and others. thanks

I didn't match for the 3rd times, I had about 10 interviews in surgery, Both steps are in high 90s, and passed step3, 10 years after graduation FMG. The reason I didn't match might be my English plus that I am too humble. Any way, I think that's the reason I didn't get good impression on ivs.
I might try scramble, next year match, in between I might try to get some clinical experience and some job to support the family. And I will welcome any suggestions. Thank you guys.

Don't loose hope yet guys!!! There is still a lot of unfilled positions this year. If they say there is only 15% chance in scramble.... you may be a part of that 15%... this is not the time to mourn and lay down your arms.... get up!!! brush up with your tactics!!!

I APPLIED FOR MATCH IN LAST TWO WEEKS OF DECEMBER.I GOT ONE IV IN THE MIDDLE OF JANUARY.I DID NOT EXPECT ANYTHING THIS YEAR BUT STILL FEEL SAD AND I DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO THIS YEAR.PLANNING TO TAKE STEP 3 AND APPLYING EARLIER NEXT YEAR

Hey guys, do not give up...The next few days concentrate all your energy for scramble. Contact all the residents you know and ask them if there are unmatched positions in their program, do not wait for NRMP to send you the list...and anyway, at this time an inside information and a nice word from that resident to the secretary worth more than anything. Plus, there are programs who did not declare their unfilled positions for various reasons, so ask EVERYBODY.
Then, for the scramble, there si too much to say, there are on this forum many comprehensive posts about how to prepare for it. Have 2-3 phones handy and alot of patience, most of the PC do not answer.

This year's match was a great success that about 90% positions were filled. How was it last year? There is much to do for scramble, I consider.
