Help plz plz - glp1

2 Questions:
-I am doing a post doctoral fellowship (research) now, where do I include this on the application? under fellowship? education? or work experience?

-I worked as a surgical scrub tech for a full year, is it negative on my CV? considering that I am applying for Internal Medicine?
I also have 3 months of USCE (extern in IM department), should I just ignore the surgical tech job?

Any input will be appreciated,

I have done work even totally outside the medical field and I still write it in the CAF. It must be better than having a gap in the CV, don't you think?

I'm not sure, but that's how I reason.
