if you are a practising doctor then you have done it all before. No actual study is needed. All you need is to practice history and examination which should be quite easy. The OSCE book gives you an idea of the format and questions to ask. Other than that just apply ASAP as months of preparation is ot needed. Good spoken English will help. Good luck.

How good are you examination skills? If you practice regularly then you can get most systems done slickly very quickly. As long as you then do at least an hour a day then you should get up to speed quite quickly. The area that you will need to work on is history taking, if you have previously practiced then it will come back quite quickly, if not then again practice an hour a day. The OSCE book is superb for this. Remember that if you apply now it will still take a couple of weeks for things to get sorted before you have to schedule, so in that time you will see how it goes for the first few weeks practising. If it is going slowly then you put it back a bit, if good then sooner.
