a 31yr old homosexual presents with fever headache malaise..on examination he had concentric ring rash on his left calf...wats the investigation of choice?????

b.elisa
c.northern blot
d.southern blot


i dnt know the answr..so plz post the answer with expaination

must be ELISA to detect antibodiies to Borrelia
calf--tick bite--rash--erythema chronicum migrans
CNS sympt typical of borrelia

homo ..concentric ring rash .presumed viral illness, I will go for PCR.

senility, there is nothing in patient history to take to tick bite and Lyme
