step 2 cs application and registration -

hey guys,
i am confused about application procedure for step2 cs.
I have applied through IWA and sent my form 183 today, i want to know if i can only register after they verify my application and form 183 and how can i know that i have been registered and when and how will recieve my scheduling permit for step 2 cs.
please help me out as i want to take dates as early as possible.

They will e-mail you to tell you that you are registerd to book an exam time.

It took about 3-4 weeks before I got my electronic scheduling permit from the time all my stuff was posted off from inside the US.
