The severe short term (explicit) memory deficits characteristic of Alzheimer™s disease would most likely be due to:


1)plaques and tangles in hippocampal regions
2) plaques and tangles in basal ganglia
3)degeneration of ventral tegmental area
4)loss of norepinephrine in the amygdala
5)loss of epinephrine producing cells in the adrenal cortex

i do not know the answer..plz someone posta confirmed answer.

it cant be 4 coz in alzhemir ther is loss of acetlycholine

son`t know krish..but i think it`s 11?? amygdala is more involved in long term memories?? don`t know though.
