Hi friends,
I am one of thousands applicants who somehow have been in contact with ECFMG. I first appreciate the opportunity that the United States gives to all IMG to enter the US system and also appreciate the work of those employees who work for us. But lots of applicants, including myself, have lost a lot of time, money, and been under tremendous stress only because they do not have enough personnel to do our request on time. For example:
1-You need to wait weeks for verification of your transcript to be sent (2-3); again, you need to wait several weeks for verification of your diploma or transcript to be processed (4-6 wks).
2- About CSA (2CS): you need to wait months for your test, then weeks for result, and if you fail, you will lose one year of your life.
3- About their Telephone: while all places in the US have a toll free number, sometimes you need to wait 40 min to talk to a representative, and some of them don?t help you properly.
These are some of my personal experiences and concern. I don?t know about other people experiences.
My request is if you are happy with what they are doing, e-mail them and let them know, and if you are not, e-mail them or write them and let them know about your concerns.
