Hi All who have recently done step 3, kindly share your CCS cases..and help us all who are going to take it soon...(do mention when u took the exam)

To name a few I came accross someone on the forum talking of..(this was by someone who took the exam in the beginning of this week)
Abruptio placentae
Carcinoma colon
multiple sclerosis

study well these cases:
femoral neck fracture in an elderly woman
obesity in adolescent
cystitis (unexpected preganancy)
post TURP infection
Narcotic overdose
Pt with cough and hemoptsis; turn out to be lung cancer
Bacterial meningitis

my friend took exam last week...here r some cases
septic shock
hip fracture
abd aortic aneurysm
essential htn

Here there are some more cases from the past months:
1) Alzeimers Dementia (had to rule out other causes of dementia before making
the diagnosis)
2) 53 y.o. F with Lower GI bleed and anemia
3) 50 + y.o. M with epigastric pain (erosive gastritis, had h/o long term NSAID use)
4) 14 y.o. F with Asthma exacerbation in office, had to shift her to ER after doing the pulse oxy and PEFR
5) 40 y.o. M with IVDA and SOB with fever (Infective Endocarditis)
6) 4 yo. F with ANA +ve Arthritis
7) 50 + y.o. F with high BP in office
8) 50 + y.o. F with Renal failure and family h/o ADAPKD, HIGH K+
9) 40 y.o. Arab male with no history know brought in the ER by a neighbour with uncounciousness and unresponsive state....he had some depression as per neighbour (TCA TOXICITY)
