Hey jun213jan,
Davidson is not recommended...but CMDT could be used just as a reference. Honestly if you can read Kaplan IM notes(2009) in and out...that should be more than enough...ofcourse with UWorld IM quesitons and the notes you make...

CK007 is absolutely right, don't go for bigger books like Davidson. Kaplan Internal Medicine notes will be a good guide. Uworld for Step2 is also essential. First Aid for Step2Ck is very good, it is precise and covers few topics not covered in Kaplan and also useful when u r doing Uworld.
