Desperate.

Dear doctors:
I know this may sound stupid, but am so desperate to start this year, due to low scores i had nothing in the match or the scramble, people in other forums are talking about matching this week and available vacancies but nobody wanna give details of where should we look for remaining spots, please if you know of any program that is still looking for PGY1 applicants or anyone who had an offer but can not make it because of visa or other issues please let me know and i will try to return the favor.

dear friend,
i am in the same situation, i guess the only way to know is if you know residents of that programs, they just fill like crazy,,, nobody knows how,,i guess its internal candidates who did rotations mostly,,its never comes up on the websites, it gets filled before it can be displayed.
i am going thru the same...

you will find an official list of places that did not fill all their positions - you may get it on websites like med fools, findaresident or scutwork.

start calling and emailing these programs.....

thats the advise i can give you
