Hello.

I'm IMG and applied for 2006 match..

I sent step3 application form on 1, september 2005 without my ECFMG certification

(In fact, I took my step 2 CS on 15 july, so I expected that I could get my CS result and ECFMG certification before september..)



but I got my result on 29, september. and I'm certified by ECFMG now..

I got e-mail from FSMB on 12 september as follows...



We have successfully identified your records..........




but a few days later I got a mail and it said that my application was cancelled because of lack of my ECFMG certification

and it said that I could receive repund of examination fees less a $75 precessing fee within 90 days from the date of that letter



now I'm certified and want to apply for step 3 again..

what should I do now?

should I send application form again?

is there anyone in the same boat?

i think sep 1st is last date for step 3 online application and sep 7th is lastdate for receiving any documents like notary form etc etc.

call them anyway to make sure....

If they say you can't apply, then you aply in January. (eptember dead line is for those who want to write step3 this year)

No,you can apply with 2006 materials and can take Step 3 in Nov or Dec 2005
