Questions about form DS 160 - cancer2483

Hello folks,
I have couple of questions for DS 160:

1) Should I get the HDFC receipt first before filling the online DS application or is ok to fill in the application without HDFC receipt?

2) Is to necessary to fill in the DS 156, DS 157 and DS 158 to fill even after filling the DS 160?

3) Do you guys know any websites that will help in formatting my photo for uploading in DS 160?

1. not necessary. u need d receipt for making an appointment.
2.DS-156,157,158 r obsolete now.
3. read d specifications from d vfs website.

NO more DS 156, 157, 158. JUST DS 160. everything is already in there.



for the picture, go to ur local photo/id printing shop, they should know the US guideline (specification), if not, then tell them the exaact specifications of how the photo should be.

you should not be very near when being photographed., ur face should only be 50% the size of the photo, with a neutral face (not smiling)
