Although the examinees will be knowing both 2 digit and 3 digit, USMLE trancripts reported through ERAS won't include 2 digit score anymore ! this applies to all steps !!

A much needed change. Recently a lot of people with score 229 were getting 99 on two digit, whereas earlier people with score 229 will have 93 or 94. Only the three digit score can be used to compare performance over time.

But isnt getting a 229 these days better than getting a 229 back then because the exam has changed a little over time and in my opinion a little more harder??

Do you guys think the program directors look at when or what year you took the exam? Or do they just set a single 3digit number as filter?
