Hey friends, have anyone applied for extension of stay for B1/business visa category for exams, or observerships or interviews? if so please let me know what supporting documents do we need besides financial support and reason? please email me at ymhsh

DON'T DO IT. doing that will only give you trouble on getting another b1/j1/h1 visa approved later on.

I would suggest against it .. better to come back to India/home country- esp if you are Indian .. you should return and go back ...

u have to pay a fee... around 200+$ non refundable
then submit ur application.... they take upto 3 weeks to just review ur application... (may take upto 2 months ) then they give u an answer... if your 6 months period is over before they give u an answer u should leave the country asap .... do not over stay. should have a very valid reason to ask for extension. |
