Renal biopsy — Renal biopsy is not performed in most patients to confirm the diagnosis of PSGN, since the clinical history is usually highly suggestive and resolution of PSGN typically begins within one week of presentation.

there is no clinical data in the q to suggest that, it PSGN, that can happened 10 days after strep infection. this 7 years old child is having glomerular disease, you can't say it is nephrotic or nephretic till you get 24 hour urine protein. if it is 3 gram or more it is nephrotic, lesss than that it is nephritic. the cause can be primary or secondary, al the choices A &b &d and e can be used as initial invistigation to fo secondary cause , BUT to confirm you need a renal biopsy, so the answer is C

i would go with B
in kids we dont do biopsy --do a prednisone trial and if doesnt improve then do biopsy. ASO titer rise is more specific test .
