First Aid 3rd / 4th edition - surmountusmle

Any one could let me know what is the difference between first Aid 4th and 3rd edition. Is there more updates in 4th edition than the 3rd edition, does it worth to buy the 4th edition? Thanks a lot in advance.

Jova, I will highly appreciate if you can please tell us the DD and Physical exam what FA mentioned in these cases. I studied from 3rd edition and my exam is just in 4 days. Thank you very much.

@Jova. I just saw in the cover of 4th edition written 44 cases and in cover for 3rd edition 31 cases. I thought it has more than 13 cases in 4th edition. Thank you. So it means that it doesn't worth to spend money for those only three cases.

Differential:laryngeal cancer,vocal cords polyp,laryngitis,hypothyroidism,mitral valve stenosis
Dx workup:CBC,laryngoscopy,ths,ct chest and neck,cardiac echography
----For neck pain
Differentialisk herniation,cervical fracture,neck muscle pain,osteoarthritis,cervical spondylosis,metastatic cancer,multiple myeloma
Dx workup:xray c-spine,MRI c-spine,nerve conduction sudies,cbc,calcium,bun/cr,serum and urine protein electrophoresis
-----for kid with tonic-clonic seizure
Differentialimple febrile seizure,meningitis,hyponatremia,UTI,Occult bacteremia
Dx workup:Lumbar puncture,CBC,electrolytes,blood cultures,UA,and urine culture,Ct-head,EEG
