Three issues which defer from the explanation above
1 ) Goal in an acute asthma exacerbation is to maintain sao2 ----------- 92 % ( not 95 %) 2 ) Pt unable to complete sentences = severe acute exacerbation ( not moderate ) 3) Child below 4 yrs------------- not to use MDI may not be a correct statement.In a child who has come with acute sever exacerbation SABA are administered either by MDI or by Nebuliser. MDI are even used in infants.
