Cranial nerves and Circle of Willis - silverstar2013
#1
Just making sure I have this right, CN 3 passes between posterior cerebllar artery and superior cerebellar artery?

What other significant CN pass through Circle of Willis besides CN 3?

Can any expert in this department help?

You may want to remember it from the standpoint of pathology: saccular aneurysm originating from the posterior communicating - posterior cerebral artery junction would be impinging upon the cn3.

also it's worth to remember subarachnoidal cisterns and nerves lying in them:
interpeduncular - cn3
ambient - cn4
prepontine - cn6

you know...I just realized I already know all of this stuff when i looked back at my neuro notes.... this is what happens when its been over a month of not revising your notes... it goes out of your brain as if you have never learned the material before or have ever seen in your entire life... so embarrasing... I feel like banging my head until it starts pouring all the neuro I went over! lol
