in NNHS.... Look for underlying precipitating factors. (order U/A, chest x ray, urine drug screen).
But an excellent point is by dr f is that silent MI can precipitate high glucose levels. It is smart to do an EKG to rule MI. MI can precipitate NNHS. "Any Stressors CAN!"
