Yes, it is a PDF file. It is useful because it helps work out your thought process and gives you a reason why you order the tests you do. When I started CCS I had a lot of doubts as to what to do next but Mapping helps you organize your thoughts and systematically approach the case. After spending so much money on books and Uworld, Mapping CCS did not seem so bad price-wise for the number of cases it offers.
