guys.. I have been doing ccs for like 2 months... trust me.
sequence is important. so order the necessary test in the correct order. for example get a xray before CT.
when the results come back and the patient needs a surgery then order surgery consult and prepare the patient for surgery, such as npo, pt/inr, ptt, bed rest, blood type and cross etc.. you get the point.

The consult will always say... "the consultant does not have any explicit management recommendation at this time. Please order any additional test, therapy or procedures."

you then order whatever surgery the patient needs. whether it is CABG, open heart, laproscopy, laprotomy, SAH, etc.

But before you order that you have to do everything necessary to prep the patient for surgery. after the surgery is over you can cancel NPO, and bed rest and switch him on regular diet or liquid diet or whatever is appropriate for that patient.

yeah this happens only on uworld. They have not updated uworld like routine/ stat issues are still on uworld but not on exam. Archer is very good at clarifying these
