for more tips including step 3 for upgrade (i've got some good tutoring sources to get you there) and --basically that you have to fit into the system as it stands now--e.g., get USCE, and make contacts and fill out beautiful ERAS Cvs and personal statements..GL for the next match--YOU CAN DO IT-i..e, I DID!

Get yourself some extra help, you dont want to risk your residency program not inviting you back. I suggest a course through Kaplan, or even a private tutor... A few of my friends had a positive experience with Know-Med

Try to summarize the way you studied previously, and figure out a different study approach this time. A course will be a good choice, for example Kaplan.

Finding out the reasons for failure is important, When you look at the core report, you can see your performance graphs. Try to focus on those most and strengthen those areas. Try to do really well on CCS.
Doing number of Qbanks and doing CCS well is important for Step 3. Have you done Archer lectures and full UW?
