How bad is this program? After accepting prematch my friend regreat very much .Is it as bad as St.Barnabas,Lincoln,Woodhull? Is there any problem with employment or fellowship?

i think ur friend should try to adapt or adjust becuase it's really difficult in ny residency programs. if he can't endure, please tell this forum when he's going to quit since there are so many who need it and waiting for such golden opportunity.

This is an important issue many doctors are facing. It is true that competing for fellowships from small programs is hard because the idealogy is that smaller programs dont train people well compared to bigger programs.
What needs to be done to improve your chances of fellowship?. ( I would request evry one for in puts) Some basic things are: Research Publications Contacts Good LOR A mentor who will guide and help you

Hey esquander! The program is in a safe neighbourhood. Work load is heavy just like in any other NYC hospital. Personally, I see a busy hospital as a potential learning place to hone ur clinical skills. Fellowship placement rate: subpar. Job placement: decent. More about ur personal efforts and grit.
