about visa&residency - adappa

Hi,
Currently, I am on H4 VISA.In order to appear for the interviews and get the H1B sponsered for my residency is it a MUST that STEP 3 RESULTS ready? Or, is it OK that I can take STEP3 after the interview and before joining to the residency? Please give your sincere advise.

always better bf4 interviews, programs dont want to risk on ur results... goodluck
