this question is related to the fact that injudicious use of oxygen to copd pt with exacerbation can kill the hypoxic drive and then kill the pt --

so what is your precaution-----

right you are april

you have to give lowest possible fio2 and monitor abg and if pt has very much difficulty and abg shows that too, then intubation should be done knowing the fact that intubation is not the first choice and also not like that you do when you think it is too late--you should do it with with the perfect judgement as far as possible,

mangait would like to say something about it?
