i am a us med student with a 249 3-digit and a 99-two digit score on step 1 and I am ranked in the top 2-3% of my class. i have no research history. is it possible to get into the top tier programs without research experience?

You still need to improve your score first.

well i can't take the test again. so i will just have to live with my score. i am curious about whether or not it is necessary to do research to get in a top path residency
