It really does sound like gallstone pancreatitis...the only thing not sitting well with me here is the normal alkaline phosphatase.

normal ALP is 20-70 U/L

just to add an arguement... gallstones are made of cholesterol most of the time... and hypertriglyceridemia here is not necessarily pure... so this might be a pro for both,...
