Hi aporva and all active members... thanks for ur humble help to us... my credentials are 76/82/cs cleared/ ecfmg certified/ all at first attempt... i had graduated in 2003... no usce ... lor from india only... doing master in public health here rite now... need visa..
I am wondering about can i get admission to pedia or IM ? How many programs i need to apply ? Thanks very much

hi there. im in a diff time zone.
u shud try and use ur opt to ur advantage and call up j1 progs and ask them if they wud accept u for first yr on opt and then sponsor a h1 under the cap for u.. like suny buffalo..
no1 can predict ur chances. but im is gettin more competitive by the day. dont know much about peds. apply to as many as u can.. the more the better. ur mph will help. give s3 stat. be realistic and apply to good small comm.
