Can anyone please explain the the process to apply for Radiology? Do I have to apply for preliminary or transitional year only on this match, or do I need to apply also for Radiology? Explain anything and everything you know, please. I will really appreciate it. Thanks.

You need to apply for both and, hopefully, find a match for both a preliminary year (for 2007) and a radiology residency (for 2008).

I don't know about this very well, but for most radiology programs I've checked, you need to apply now (2006) to start in 2008. I think I may have seen a couple where you could apply in 2007 to start in 2008.
