Be VERY CAREFUL. No problem with marrying on H1 visa holder. Do not ever get a j1 visa. You MUST return to your country of residence for 2 years upon completion of your residency and its EXTREMELY difficult to get out of.

Hi - I see your concern here and I do see people giving stupid replies. First of all, no problems in getting married to some one on H1, that is perfectly fie. Do NOT get married to some one who has a Green Card. That would take you for ever to get your papers processed for your green card and you can not apply for any other visa in the meanwhile.
Regarding J-1, no problem, if u r not getting H1, and u have a choice of getting J1, grab the opportunity. Once you complete your residency on J1, in order to get your GC, you have to work in any underserved area for 3 years, which is not a problem as you get paid a whole lot and by all means get to work in US. So, think over your options. ALSO: If you are looking for H1 visa holders/single guys to marry, I know a few doctors/engineers who are looking for brides, let me know if you are interested. Good luck on your quest, regards......... |
