some CS queries 1 - kyr

It seems in the P/E, so much time is spent on makeing pt sit/stand/lying down, tying gown.
Is there any logical sequence of events, so that i dont have to look silly asking to lie down again and then sit up and then maybe lie down again for soemthing.
I hope im making myself clear.
