B.What about pancreatic cancer?

C. How do you diff btw Chronic pancreattis and Pancreatic cancer? (Labs Values? and/or Sx's)

initial test is ct scan
in pancreatic cancer, there will be wt. loss

amylase raised in chr i think whras its not in the Ca....
hey but mostly ca occurs after a long standin chronic pancreatitis

Pancretic Caner: most of teh cases are weight loss and painless jaundice, very important, always suspect PC in painless jaundice elderly patinets.

Chronic pancreatitis: almost all teh cases will tell you either alchol or gall stone.

pancreatic cancer--lab--obstructive jaundice,CT scan,
chronic pancreatitis- AST > ALT , high glucose
