Screening for DM type 2 should be done, starting at age 42
then q 3 yrs.
People with risk factors ( F/H, obesity, HTN, Hyper TG'emia, delivery of child >9 lbs, GDM )
should undergo screening at much earlier age and more frequent intervals.

Screening for HTN
start at the age of 2, after 21 do it q 2 yrs.
