Tay Sachs is an autosomal rececive disease. knowing that both parents must be carriesr to have children that have Tay Sachs disease. Then to be a carrier in autosomal recessive disease is: 1/2 carriers , 1/4 normal 1/4 diseased
and that how I come up with 50% of chance that 20 year old to be carrier.
