Hey guys, i m in FM PGY1. I want to switch over to IM. Can I participate again in match and apply to the programs with 1 yr USCE?? Can I get PGY2 in IM ?? Anybody has any idea...

to participate again u'll need PD's letter since the future pgms want to know what happened. It's very unlikely u'll get PGY2, but not entirely impossible. why not talk to ppl in the IM pgm if there is one in your hospital to see if they'll take u? u have the NIH funding for 3 yr training so it might be easier and quicker that way.
